Take advantage of leading edge technology with a Vision Source doctor.
Because of the size and reputation of the Vision Source network, we are the first to incorporate new instruments and diagnostic equipment in our practices.
Some examples of cutting edge technology that may be found at a Vision Source Michigan practice include:
Digital Retinal Imaging
Digital retinal imaging utilizes a high-resolution imaging system to provide a wide-angle view of the back of the eye. Your doctor examines the image to look for abnormalities that could indicate eye health conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma or diabetic eye disease. Typically this procedure requires no dilation.
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
OCT allows your doctor to effectively see a three-dimensional cross-section of the tissue of the eye. By examining the layers of this image, your doctor can see indications of vision problems that would not normally be visible, resulting in early diagnosis and treatment.
Because your local Vision Source practice is independently owned and operated, the availability of some new instruments and diagnostic equipment may vary.
